This past November I was fortunate to be able to travel back to New Orleans for a wedding photography workshop. As a photographer I put a lot of value in investing in education and continuing to develop my skills to better serve my wedding clients. As an artist I know it is paramount to creativity to seek out new beautiful experiences in this life. The Inspire retreat with Mon Soleil Weddings provided both these opportunities. Between all the knowledge shared and the new wedding industry connections made I feel more ready than ever to move forward in setting up in my new market and adding more destination services to my existing business model.

New Orleans to me is an ideal local for artistic endeavors with its bright colorful appeal and abundance of talent in all forms. In the three years I have lived there I have learned to slow down a bit and really live for the enjoyment of the moment. The music, the food, the art, and even the street performers feed my soul. The richness in color and unique details of this editorial by event planner Valerie Gernhauser of Sapphire Events were perfection. This editorial really captured the essence of what an intimate French Quarter wedding can aspire to be.

With its unique history and undeniable charm Kingsway Studio was a most inspiring location of choice. With all of its one of a kind venues and traditions its now wonder New Orleans wedding photography has won over my heart.

The lush vibrant florals by Maxine Owens of Max Owens Design were a bold touch that brought the inspiration of this shoot to life. They accented this all red room at Kingsway Studio that was actually designed to host the painting of Audrey Hepburn that sits above the mantle perfectly. I think Audrey would approve!
